Pop-Up-Pub November 2025

Pant’s very own Pop-Up pub was held at the Memorial Hall on November 7th from 6:30 pm and proved to be very Popular!

The idea behind the pop-ups is to give the community a focal point to get together and meet one another while the Cross Guns is closed.

Over 60 local friends and families, came along to the hall to catch up with neighbours they hadn’t seen in a while. It was lovely that so many locals could make it.

The next Pop-Up Pub is planned for Friday, December 12th. Make sure you wear your best Christmas jumper, as there is a competition with prizes to be won. The hall will be decorated, the Christmas tree will be up, and Christmas songs will be playing. It’s going to be a real community opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit.

Raffle and Donations

A raffle was held to help raise money for the December Pop-Up Pub; all prizes were donated by Gareth from the Village Shop. Thank you! Another big thank you to Anne for selling the tickets and running the raffle. A total of £133 was raised from the raffle and donations, so a huge thank you to everyone who supported us and we look forward to seeing you in December on the 12th.

Food & Drink

Again, it was a bring-your-own-drink evening, with glasses provided. The Gourmet Burger Van was a great hit again. They served a great selection of street food, and it was great to see so many people just drop in for a takeaway. They also provided an excellent table delivery service for everyone in the hall, so you didn’t have to wait outside for your order.

Volunteers

Thanks to everyone who organised, helped set up for the event and helped clear up afterwards; without your help, these things can’t happen.

Save The Cross Guns Leaflets
