Re: Cross Guns Community Share Issue

As I am sure you know, we are unable to proceed with the community purchase of the Cross Guns. Having raised some £75,000, we could not see a realistic prospect of raising enough to buy the pub at this stage. Therefore, we are returning all investments.

Your money will be returned to the bank account you specified on your share application form. If it’s not already in the account, it should be within a matter of days.
|
|
At this stage, we do not know what will become of the pub. It is currently being marketed by Admiral Taverns and we do hope it remains a public house.
|
|
Given the current state of the hospitality industry, it is possible that it remains unsold for a while. If the community comes together in the future to try and save the Cross Guns, we hope you would be able to offer your support again.

There are plans to continue with the much enjoyed Pant Pop-Up Pub whilst the Cross Guns is still closed. Now that the campaign has ended the Pop-Up will return to its original format of bring your own beer and we are also trying to organise a food van. We are hoping the next one will be on the 5th June, we will update you with more information closer to the time.
